Bakhundole Heights began with a simple idea: creating a quiet, comfortable space where people could actually settle in, whether they were in Kathmandu for a week or a season.
Run by Sushila and Shejal, we are a family-run building that believes in a hands-on, personal approach to hospitality. We know what it's like to travel and work remotely, which is why we've focused on the things that actually matter: reliable, fast internet, 24/7 power backup, and quiet spaces where you can hear yourself think.
We live just around the corner and are always available if you need something, but we also respect your privacy. It's the balance of knowing someone is looking out for you, without feeling like you're staying in someone else's house.
Our neighbourhood
We deliberately chose Bakhundole. It sits perfectly between the busy, expat-heavy streets of Sanepa and the restaurant hub of Jhamsikhel. It's quiet, lined with trees, and you can walk to some of the best cafes and bakeries in the city in under ten minutes.
